FROM MUSEUM CONCEPT TO THE Branding and Design OF THE DUTCH RED CROSS MUSEUM

The Humanity House is more than a museum, it is a place where visitors can experience and contemplate why it is important to pay attention to those living through disasters and armed conflicts. It is a combination of a museum environment and knowledge center that hosts debates, lectures, screenings and educational activities.

The Dutch Red Cross gave the assignment to develop the branding, opening campaign and museum concept of what it means to live and survive in an area where war has broken out, or where a natural disaster has occurred. The Humanity House project won a European Design Award in the branding category and was nominated for the European Museum of the Year Award.

In collaboration with Hans Wolbers.
